“October Rain – White Mountains”  With this painting I wanted to capture the atmosphere of a passing storm over the Swift River in the white mountains of New Hampshire.  Oil on canvas  16 x 20

“A Summer Morning “  An original oil on canvas  18×24.  The morning light has a way of adding to the quiet solitude of simple places.

“Golden Reflections”  An original oil on canvas 9″ x 12″.  This group of glowing birches grabbed my attention during a sunny autumn afternoon.

“Monadnock Inspirations”  An original oil on canvas 16″ x 20″.  This local mountain has been the subject of many paintings through the years.  Studying this landmark during the different seasons always presents new challenges for the artist. This particular observation comes into view for only a brief moment while on the road to Peterborough, NH.

“An Autumn Afternoon”  An original oil on canvas. Available as an 8×10.  The autumn foliage has a way of capturing the warm glow of the afternoon light.

“Open Fences”   An original oil on canvas  8″x10″. This oil was painted while looking through a window at an old fence that was open to the woods beyond. It seemed to beckon one to enter the unfolding palette of the autumn season.

“Winter – Mohawk River”  An Original oil on canvas  8″x16″.  One of the rivers in the north woods of New Hampshire that grabbed my attention on a sunlit winter day. The remarkable qualities of light and shadow inspired me to paint this winter scene.

“As Evening Falls”  An original oil on canvas  11×14.  This is a great time of the day when the setting sun seems to hang on to the edges of the mountain for a very short time just before disappearing from view.
